Here is my story…

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved the revolutionary and revelatory qualities of pure science. This passion led me to great academic achievements, including a master’s degree in human molecular genetics and more recently a second master’s in clinical nutrition and a top notch certification in environmental toxins. I also had the rare opportunity to work in one of the best universities in London, UK, straight after graduation – it was a dream coming true.
I’ve dreamed of having children for as long as I can remember, but this dream has also scared me at times. As a scientist I became acutely aware of official and unofficial reports revealing a very gloomy future for children’s health, both short and long-term.
This was presented as inevitable and something I had to come to terms with.
But I couldn´t
Instead, I decided to take responsibility for my family’s future. I studied passionately, dedicating myself to learning how to actively bypass and neutralize the negative effects of the modern world. It is actually the domination of processed foods and environmental pollution that threaten the health of our children.
This realization was a major turning point, which changed my life and perspective on health forever.
Rethinking modern science
Big changes came next. I realized my determination to improve health and quality of life through diet and lifestyle modifications contradicted the principles of modern science.
I found that both high-end scientific research and clinical practice are greatly influenced by pharmaceutical companies and their financial interests.
In the peak of my transformation to a healthy diet and lifestyle expert, I took a stand and quit my academic position.
My partner and I decided to leave London and the comforts of the big city in order to live a simpler life in a beautiful place. Here on the Canary Islands in Spain, you can still pick fruits from the trees, and farmers sow their seeds based on the lunar cycles. In this beautiful place we welcomed our first child in Spring 2016.

My days of motherhood!
Now, a busy mom, I spend most of my waking (and very often sleeping) hours practicing the noble art of gentle parenting, while giving to my 2-year-old daughter as many sensory and educational opportunities I can, in a fun, safe and non-toxic way and space (see pic, btw this is turmeric and it stains A LOT!).
I am absolutely obsessed dedicated with offering her the BEST start in life and this is now the main driving force in my own life as well, what keeps me going
I hope you will join me to this marvelous yet challenging path!
